What they needed

We were asked to supply and install a new high-performance wall-mounted pressure washer system for a dairy farmer in Atherstone. The customer needed a more powerful and reliable solution for cleaning down the dairy after each herd visit, as his existing equipment was struggling to keep up with daily demands.

Problem / Requirement

• Existing machine: The farmer was using an unreliable Kränzle pressure washer that frequently failed and wasn’t suitable for heavy, regular dairy cleaning.
• Main issues: Lack of power, poor reliability, and increased downtime during daily washdowns.
• Site conditions: Cleaning takes place after each cow visit, requiring regular, efficient washdowns in a demanding environment.
• Usage: Daily use for dairy cleaning and hygiene maintenance.

The customer needed a stronger, more durable system that could deliver consistent performance and reduce interruptions to the milking routine.

Our Solution / Work Carried Out

• Supplied and installed a SystemWash AquaJet 3 stainless steel three-phase cold wall-mounted pressure washer for maximum durability and power.
• Mounted the unit securely to the wall to keep it off the floor and protect it from dirt, water, and equipment movement in the dairy.
• Raised the machine to a safe height so the cows could not reach or damage the unit during milking or movement in the dairy.
• Fitted protective edging around the outside of the frame to prevent the cows from catching or injuring themselves on any sharp corners.
• Installed a chemical injector to allow for low-pressure chemical application during washdowns, helping break down dirt and improve hygiene.
• Set up the system to provide a reliable high-pressure feed to make dairy washdowns quicker and easier after each milking session.
• Installed the system in a fixed position to provide a clean, organised, and permanent washdown point.
• Commissioned the machine on-site and ensured the customer was fully trained and confident in operating the system.

The Result

• The new AquaJet 3 system delivers significantly more power and performance compared to the previous Kränzle unit.
• Cleaning the dairy after each herd visit is now quicker, easier, and more efficient.
