What they needed

We were asked to design and install a new site-wide washdown system for an industrial site in Burton. The customer wanted multiple wash points positioned around the facility to make cleaning quicker, easier, and more efficient, without having to move equipment from place to place.

Problem / Requirement

• Existing setup: The site previously relied on a single pressure washer and portable hose trolleys.
• Main issues: Time-consuming setup, constant equipment movement, trailing hoses, and limited cleaning performance.
• Site conditions: Large, busy outdoor and indoor areas requiring regular washdowns to keep the site clean and presentable.
• Usage: Frequent daily washdowns for general site cleaning and maintenance.

The customer needed a fixed, professional washdown system that provided instant access to water across multiple locations without dragging hoses or relocating equipment.

Our Solution / Work Carried Out

• Installed multiple wall-mounted wash points across the site, fed by the central Delta booster system.
• Set up low-pressure wash points for high-volume rinsing and general cleaning tasks.
• Installed high-pressure wash points for heavy-duty cleaning where stronger performance was required.
• Fitted stainless steel hose reels at every location for durability and corrosion resistance.
• Installed automatic retractable warm-water reels at the high-pressure points for easy handling and improved cleaning performance.
• Installed hand-wind stainless reels at the low-pressure points for simple, reliable access to volume water.
• Designed the system so operators can simply pull a hose, press the trigger, and wash, with no need to move equipment around the site.
• Connected all wash points back to the central Delta booster to ensure consistent water supply and pressure.
