Service On A Nilfisk SH Truck On A Farm Outside Nuneaton

What they needed

We were asked to carry out a service on a Nilfisk SH Truck unit that had been running for around 8 years without any servicing. The machine was still operational but had started to sound rough, indicating internal wear.

Problem / Requirement

  • Machine type: Nilfisk SH Truck hot pressure washer.
  • Service history: No service carried out for approximately 8 years.
  • Main issue: Machine still running but noticeably rough and noisy.
  • Cause: Internal wear on pump drive components due to lack of maintenance.
  • Requirement: Strip down, inspect, and restore the pump to proper working condition.

Our Solution

  • Fully stripped down the pump assembly.
  • Identified worn components including wobble disk, bearing tracks, and roller bearings.
  • Replaced all worn pump drive components.
  • Carried out a full service on the machine.
  • Reassembled and tested the unit to ensure correct operation.

The Result

  • The machine is now running smoothly and quietly.
  • All internal pump components restored to proper working condition.
  • Reliability significantly improved.
  • Unit returned to the customer performing like new.
